Synopsis:
Paul Blart is back and he is older rounder and still just as heroically overconfident as ever before. After spending decades treating the mundane job of mall security like a top secret federal mission the worlds most earnest security guard finally encounters the crisis he has spent his entire life training for. This is not just a routine shoplifter or a lost child scenario but a full scale hostile takeover by a ruthless gang of high tech and highly organized criminals.
The massive shopping center is completely locked down with terrified shoppers trapped inside. The criminals have secured the perimeter with military grade gadgets advanced hacking gear and menacing attitudes that suggest they mean business. Standing alone between these dangerous professionals and total chaos is the one man nobody expected to save the day Paul Blart.
Armed with nothing but his trusty Segway which has seen better days an overstuffed utility belt filled with questionable non lethal weapons and blind determination Paul throws himself into the action. He operates with the same clumsy bravery that made him a legend mostly within his own imagination. From getting stuck in narrow ventilation shafts to engaging in messy food court firefights involving condiments and kitchen appliances no part of the mall is safe. He utilizes booby trapped kiosks and engages in epic slip and slide chases on freshly waxed floors ensuring that Blarts uniquely disastrous rescue attempts leave a path of destruction in their wake.
He is not entirely alone in this fight as the story sees the welcome return of Amy and introduces an unlikely ally in the nervy and anxious Stuart. Together Paul must battle overwhelming odds while simultaneously fighting off his own intense cravings for sugary snacks. He is determined to save the hostages outsmart the sophisticated bad guys and finally prove once and for all that real heroes do not need official police badges they just need a lot of heart.
