As tensions rise and old fears resurface, Judy and Nick are joined by familiar allies including Chief Bogo (Idris Elba), an increasingly stressed Assistant Mayor Bellwether (Jenny Slate) desperate for redemption, the charismatic superstar Gazelle (Shakira) rallying the public for peace, and an enigmatic new mayor voiced by J.K. Simmons, whose agenda may not be as noble as it seems.
