Nebraska volleyball plays its third and final spring match on Saturday afternoon. The Huskers take on Northern Colorado at the Chicoine Center in Chadron, Nebraska at 1 p.m. CT.
Nebraska’s clash in Chadron continues the team’s tradition of touring the state for spring volleyball matches. Since 2007, the Huskers have played spring matches in Central City, Grand Island, Kearney, McCook, Norfolk, North Platte, Ogallala, Ord and Wayne.
Nebraska enters its final spring match 2-0, after sweeping Iowa State (25-17, 25-16, 25-16, 26-24) in front of a crowd of 3,376 at the Sanford Pentagon and defeating Creighton 3-1 (25-19, 25-18, 25-15, 15-25) in front of a crowd of 2,374 at D.J. Sokol Arena.
Now it faces the Bears, who put together a strong 2025 season. Northern Colorado finished 17-16 but won the Big Sky Volleyball Championship to punch its ticket to the NCAA Tournament. The Bears faced Creighton in the opening and took the Bluejays to five sets before falling.
