It is Turbo time once again. Jingle All the Way 3 The Turbo Legacy brings back Howard Langston played by the legendary Arnold Schwarzenegger who is now a retired and doting grandfather. All he wants is to spoil his grandchildren with the best gifts imaginable. However there is a significant problem. His son Jamie played by Glen Powell has been traumatized by the chaotic commercialism of his own childhood adventures. As a result Jamie has strictly banned all commercial plastic toys from his house insisting instead on a wooden and organic Christmas experience free from corporate influence.
The family peace is disturbed when the absolute hottest toy of the century is announced to drop right on Christmas Eve. It is the Turbo Bot AI 3000 a highly advanced self learning robot companion that every child on earth is desperate to own. Howard decides he must break his sons strict rules for one final mission to secure the happiness of his grandkids. But the game has changed drastically since the nineties. Howard is no longer just fighting through physical crowds in department stores.
The modern battlefield is far more complex. Howard must battle an army of automated scalper bots navigate confusing dark web auctions and attempt to intercept high speed drone deliveries in mid air. Worst of all his old nemesis Myron played by Sinbad is back in the picture. Myron is now running an underground black market toy smuggling ring from within his nursing home and he is just as unstable as ever.
To make matters even worse a hyper competitive tech obsessed father played by Kevin Hart enters the race making Howard look obsolete with his superior gadgets and speed. Filled with explosive slapstick action and plenty of humor about getting older Jingle All the Way 3 proves that you should never mess with a grandfather on a mission. The film delivers a heartwarming message about family while hilariously satirizing the insanity of modern holiday shopping.
