We’re back for the third and final day of the 2026 NFL Draft, finishing up the process with Rounds 4-7 on Saturday.
The biggest player to watch today was Tennessee cornerback Jermod McCoy, who was finally selected by the Las Vegas Raiders with the first pick of the fourth round. McCoy, once a surefire first-rounder, slid to the third day of the draft due to injury concerns.
McCoy suffered an ACL injury in January 2025 that kept him out all last season. But, Yahoo Sports’ Charles Robinson reports, that’s not really the reason that teams were worried about him: McCoy has a “bone plug” in the same knee that was inserted to address a cartilage issue, which may need to be replaced in the future. That replacement, if not successful, would possibly end McCoy’s career.
Beyond McCoy, other players who are likely to go early on Saturday include LSU quarterback Garrett Nussmeier (No. 34 on the big board), Miami cornerback Keionte Scott (No. 45) and Penn State edge rusher Dani Dennis-Sutton (No. 46).
Follow along with the latest NFL draft news, trades and more from Day 3.
